Dear LiDA 103 students,
I am currently a PhD student at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. I have experience as an  instructor and as an instructional designer for online learning.
I am in this course as an OERu volunteer to assist you in your learning should you need it. However, issues related to technical support should be directed at the OERu.
I am also in the course to conduct research on how this course functions. I’d like to emphasize that I’m not here to assess your work, but rather to see what happens in a course where open source tools are used in a very open environment.
For a more thorough and formal explanation of my work, please refer to the information sheet linked here.
I hope you enjoy and benefit from your experience with LiDA 103!
Warm regards,
Dan Dubien
